What is the Student Assistance Programme?

Our Student Assistance Programme provides 24/7 mental health support to help students manage the pressures of academic life, including financial anxiety, exam stress, and housing issues. With access to BACP-qualified counsellors, students can receive tailored care, including short-term therapy options that best suit their individual needs.

The service is available 24/7/365 days a year and can be accessed via our 24/7 helpline or online Wellbeing Hub for digital appointment booking.

Gold-standard care

Our diverse network of BACP-qualified, experienced counsellors provides culturally sensitive support for students of all backgrounds and communities e.g. LGBTQ+.

Counsellors may use various approaches relevant to the student such as Person-centred, Psychodynamic or Transactional analysis, CBT, Gestalt, and Trauma-informed therapy, depending on what's clinically appropriate.
