It’s Time For Change
75% of primary care consultations in Europe could be resolved remotely. Yet less than 1% of them are executed digitally. HealthHero’s mission is to change that.
“The world has changed, and healthcare is failing to keep up. Digital can provide the solution, but it has not yet succeeded. Now is the time to change that.”
HealthHero brings together human expertise and digital convenience providing remote access to doctors and expert clinicians directly to patients, insurance-policy holders and employees
HealthHero was founded in Autumn 2019 when Marcol, a privately owned, pan-European investment house with significant assets in healthcare, joined hands with Ranjan Singh, an entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience innovating and investing in sectors on the cusp of transformation.
To Marcol and Ranjan the digital telehealth sector presented a clear opportunity. Relatively untouched by technology and digital transformation, they saw a space where Ranjan’s skills in building and scaling digital businesses combined with Marcol’s existing telehealth business, experience and financial muscle could create a formidable business.
Ranjan and Marcol’s founders Terence Cole and Mark Steinberg shared the vision of building a platform that married user-centric innovation with healthcare expertise and embarked on the journey together.
The result is HealthHero.
